About Eliana Pérez

 
 

Curriculum Vitae

Eliana Perez was born in Cali, Colombia.  She studied Fine Arts and Printmaking at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia, and Bookmaking at Cooper Union, in New York City.  She immigrated to the United States in the 1990s and currently lives and works in the East Harlem neighborhood of New York City.  She is an associate artist of Booklyn Inc., a non-profit that promotes artist books as art and research materials for education, community engagement, and activism with a commitment to environmental and social justice.
